A compact yet commanding antique Chinese cloisonné enamel bronze vase with exceptional visual weight and authentic age.
Standing 6 inches tall and 3 inches wide, this piece carries the presence of a much larger vessel. The proportions are architecturally balanced — flared rim, tapered neck, rounded shoulder, and pedestal foot — echoing traditional scholar-object forms.
The gilt bronze body has developed a deep, warm patina that only time produces. The cloisonné enamel banding features geometric and stylized foliate motifs in cobalt blue, turquoise, ivory, and oxblood red — executed in traditional wirework technique.
This is not a modern decorative reproduction. The surface wear, oxidation, and underside markings confirm estate circulation and genuine age.
